According to an analysis of Google Trends, global interest in the term urinary tract infection (UTI) has more than doubled since 20041. Searches for this term peaked last year as consumers increasingly look for holistic ways to take care of themselves. Indeed, according to Innova Insights, the CAGR for the global dietary supplement category over the past five years has been +10.6% (through Q1 2023)2. Similarly, immune health, which includes our ability to fight infection, accounts for one-third of new supplement product introductions.

Combining these observations, it’s safe to say that holistic ways to treat UTIs should still be at the top of any supplement and natural health company’s portfolio.
